Web Design
The first thing to do when choosing a web site designer is to visit sites they've created.
If you don't like the way they look or function,
there's no sense in going any further. See our portfolio page for examples of our web design.
When it comes to web design I like to use the analogy of playing music—in as little as a few hours, some people can strum a few chords on a guitar and play a simple tune. But, to really play the instrument requires a combination of talent, practice, understanding, and experience.
Makeovers: Recently I've been designing a lot of makeovers for clients who want to take their website up to the next level. These clients have realized that it takes a professional to get results—there's much more to it than simply creating some great looking web pages.
A website designer must know what it takes to get the best possible search engine rankings.
Walker Web Services is a full-service web design and web hosting company—we take care of all our clients' needs—from helping you register your domain name to search engine optimization and search engine submission.
Because website design is an ongoing project, I continue working with my clients after the initial design stage is completed. Helping my customers get results is important.
Pricing
Because there are so many variables, I work on an hourly basis. After receiving and/or discussing your content, I can give you an estimate. While designing your site, I'll log my time and charge accordingly.
From a client
Just a quick note to let you know we just broke another monthly record with our web site! In the month of August we had over 2,000 visitors... translation: our B&B is BOOKED SOLID! Actually 29 of 31 days—close enough!
Thanks again for the great web site!
